Series Recap 4

The fourth homestand of the 2014 season was very successful. The Lancaster Barnstormers came to town for five games in four days. Each game against the Barnstormers ended in a victory for the York Revolution. The five victories propelled the Revs into first place and a lead in the War of the Roses Series. The next three game series featured The Somerset Patriots who arrived to York for the first time this season. The Revs picked up exactly where they left off with Lancaster with another victory in the first game of this series. However, the Revs six-game winning streak came to an end on Wednesday, May 28th. The hometown team rebounded with a win in the final game of this eight game homestand. A total of twenty-two cannon blasts, including eight homeruns, were recorded during the games against the Barnstormers and the Patriots. The Revs are back in action on Friday, June 6th, 2014 at 6:30pm as the Sugar Land Skeeters visit Santander Stadium for the first time in 2014. I’ll see you at the ballpark!
