Series Recap | Riversharks

The second half continued with a three game series against the Camden Riversharks. Game #1 and #2 of this series saw the home teams bats remain silent resulting in back-to-back losses. The first game ended with a score of 5 to 2 and the second game ended with a score of 3 to 1.
The Revs responded to the early wake up call of 11am on Wednesday.

This morning game saw the offense come to life resulting in a victory of 12 to 0. This homestand featured six firings of the cannon which included 2 homeruns. The Revs are back in action at home on Wednesday, July 30th when the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs visit Santander Stadium.

Beatles Night

Silver Sluggers Tuesday presented by WellSpan Sports Medicine: 55 or over? Join the Silver Sluggers! Also, it is Shurfine Baseball Bingo Night! Finally, enjoy Beatles Night and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles coming to the United States! Cannonball Charlie would have been a wonderful addition to Paul, John, Ringo and George. At the end of each song I could discharge the cannon!

Series Recap

The start of the Atlantic League’s second half started off with a
victory for the York Revolution with a final score of 3 to 2 against
the Somerset Patriots on Monday night at Santander Stadium. The
winning ways continued as the York Revolution outslugged the Somerset
Patriots 11-5 in the second game of this series. The Revs improve to
43-29 overall for the season, matching a season-high at 14 games over
the .500 mark. The final game of this three game series ended in a
tough loss for the home team. The Revs fell to the Somerset Patriots
by a final score of 6 to 5.

The homestand continued against the Bridgeport Bluefish. The Bluefish
earned a victory in the opening game with a final score of 4 to 2. The
second game resulted in another tough loss for the Revs with a final
score of 5 to 3. In front of 5,555 fans on Saturday, July 12th the
Bridgeport Bluefish spoiled the fun by swimming away with a victory.
The final score of this game was 9 to 3. This series concluded with a
Revs victory of a final score of 3 to 1. This victory snapped a
four-game losing streak and avoiding the series sweep.

This homestand featured twelve firings of the cannon which included 3
homeruns. The Revs enter the All-Star Break with an overall record of
44 wins and 33 losses on the year. The Revs are back in action on
Friday, July 18th when they visit the Long Island Ducks. Don’t forget

York Revolution’s next home occurs on Monday, July 21st when the
